Am I the right therapist for you? My clients are relatively high functioning, but feeling stuck or facing common challenges involving relationships, life transitions or existential issues of meaning/purpose. I work best with motivated clients who are ready to do the hard work that's necessary for lasting change. I've witnessed awe-inspiring change in clients, which is what continues to motivate me, and I have seen how my 60+ years of life experience and hard-earned wisdom have helped my clients. I'm passionate about my work and approach it with a high level of professionalism, but I also don't hesitate to inject a bit of humor.

As your therapist, I am here to listen and help you process what is going on in your life and help you figure out what your options are. I will be there for you to work on your goals with you at your own pace. I believe that every one of my clients is capable of growth and it is my job to facilitate this process of building greater awareness toward becoming the person we were meant to be. I help you evaluate your unique situation so you have a better understanding of how you relate to others and give you better insight into who you are. I have a broad life experience that helps me relate to a diverse clientele.

My ideal client is someone who is interested in helping themselves and creating change in their life. At Expressive Therapies, we work with the creative arts (music and art therapies) along with mental health counseling to provide a holistic approach unique to each individual. Sara is also a qualified gambling treatment provider, for gambler and their loved ones.
