I have worked with clients of all ages and with many different issues, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD as well as with patients experiencing past and current trauma.

I specialize in trauma, specifically childhood abuse and neglect. Working with all ages from young child to adult. I also have a great deal of experience helping individuals with symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Touchstone was founded in 2005 by Dr. Cindy Baker. We offer executive coaching, life coaching, community talks, workshops and seminars, anger management, court-ordered services, parenting education. Dr. Baker is offering a Mental Health Urgent Care model in her practice for extreme traumatic needs to reduce wait time for a session.

My ideal client is one who is aware that they need to do something different but aren't quite sure what the next step is. This could be a life transition from adolescence to adulthood, or a couple who struggles with communication. It could be more intense like a couple who is in the middle of despair or broken trust, or an individual or child who has experienced something traumatic that has changed their whole world. All these individuals are looking for ways to regain their life and become who they believe themselves to be.

I am ready to start your journey together. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2018. I have experience working with young children, adolescents, and adults. I use a person-centered approach that facilitates healing through providing empathetic support while walking beside you through your journey of hope and healing. Rebecca is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Therapist who is currently taking clients in Missouri and Oregon who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and looking for support in their desired treatment goals. Rebecca specializes in walking besides clients to assist them to find their inner strength in order to overcome challenges.

Life becomes too difficult; you need an objective someone to talk to, listen to your story, and provide encouragement that you can not only survive what you are going through, but work to find purpose and meaning in the midst of the storm. The most important aspect of therapy is the Client-Therapist relationship. Once it is determined that the Client is comfortable with me, then it is a collaborative effort to help facilitate the healing process through the life changes the Client faces. My job is to provide a safe place for change and growth to happen.

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults. Sessions can center anywhere from emotional health to self-healing from past or current trauma. Together we will focus on social skills and ways to create the life you want for yourself by establishing confidence, encouraging self-growth and creating room to enhance self-worth. My focus is on helping clients in the healing process. I address issues such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, marital discord, relationship conflict, trauma, grief, abuse, child conduct issues and a many other emotional, behavioral, social and family issues. I would be honored to work with anyone who is experiencing difficulty in life and help them learn and develop different ways to cope and resolve their emotional pain. One of the unique therapeutic interventions I use is Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT). AAT is designed to promote improvement in physical, social, emotional, and/or cognitive functioning.

I enjoy working with all age groups and have a great deal of experience in working with sexually abused or otherwise traumatized patients. I have been trained in the use of EMDR.
