Additionally, I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy . My graduate and doctoral coursework has also trained me in multiple other therapeutic models.

Hello! I am Tim, a dedicated intern specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. My journey in this field is fueled by a passion for understanding and nurturing human connections. I specialize in working with couples and individuals navigating the complexities of relationships, marital and premarital issues, divorce, life transitions, and aspects surrounding the spectrum of human sexuality.

I have 47 years experience working with individuals, families and children to help them cope with life's changes and challenges. I have extensive experience working with chronic and persistent mental illness, such as major depression disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and anxiety. I also provide marriage counseling, couples counseling, premarital counseling and family therapy.

I have been in practice as a Psychotherapist for over 25 years working with adults, children, and adolescents, as well as families and couples. My aim is to help my clients address important issues in their lives and find new ways to make meaningful changes. I have worked in hospital settings, as well as outpatient mental health clinics. My clinical experience includes the treatment of mood disorders, depression/bipolar disorders, anxiety, anger management, family and marital relationship issues, grief and trauma, school difficulties, ADHD, and behavioral problems. I coordinate care with physicians, schools, employers, and the legal system and can administer the MMPI as needed.

I have clinical interests in cognitive behavioral, EMDR, mindfulness, animal-assisted, creative and art approached therapy.
