The Counseling Center at Clark offers a substance abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Outpatient Program (OP) that combines evidence-based, state of the art treatment with 12 Step principles. Our substance abuse programs are designed for individuals struggling with remaining abstinent from the use of alcohol and drugs. The program we offer is focused on the individual and is designed to enable sober and productive living.

It is my therapeutic goal is to help individuals resolve life's challenges by overcoming the hurdles and hurts and get back to a life that is not only satisfactory but victorious. I welcome individuals who are experiencing life difficulties and seek change. Depression and anxiety is not a sign of weakness, but can instead be a sign that you have been strong for too long. I am a supportive and compassionate therapist. The collaborative approach between therapist and client brings about the most successful outcomes. I have been told that I am extremely easy to relate to and am never judgmental. My goal in working with clients is to help them to identify what changes they would like to make and together form a plan to implement those changes. Youth & Family Counseling Service (YFCS) has promoted the mental health and well-being of youth, families and the larger community. We are a private non-profit social service agency. I, Ron Silikovitz, Ph.D., am a licensed clinical psychologist. I have offices in West Orange and Elizabeth, New Jersey. My specialty areas include: Forensic psychology (parent coordination, therapeutic visitation, custody/parenting time evaluation, relocation evaluation, risk assessment, personal injury, assessment and treatment of sexual offenders and victims, competency, termination of parental rights and adoption, and expert witness testimony), individual psychotherapy, couples therapy,family therapy.

Having worked in the mental health profession for over 25 years, I am a licensed mental health professional and owner of the Hicks Group Wellness Center. My primary work is with individuals suffering from domestic violence, traumas, anxiety, and depression. I am particular about whom I take as a client; my ideal client is ready for transformative change and motivated to do the therapeutic work that comes with counseling.

InStride Health specializes in treating young patients whose anxiety or OCD is causing significant impairment in life (ie., school avoidance, social isolation, family disruption, and physical manifestations.) Practicing evidence-based treatment (CBT, ACT, components of DBT) with an emphasis on exposure, the InStride team empowers youth to face their fears and build resilience.
