I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I provide supportive clinical treatment to individuals, couples, children and families. You can disown what doesn't serve you well and develop your strengths, find new possibilities, and move into a place where positive changes can happen. Reaching out for marriage, child, or family therapy is not easy, however, there is good news. Progress can be made, relationships can heal, and families can be functional again. I am skilled at helping clients develop the needed strategies to heal hurts, process conflict, set boundaries, and build closeness. I have extensive training in a variety of therapies including Gottman Method Couple Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other research-based tools. I focus on client's specific needs and work to find solutions for their concerns.

Life as a single parent can be overwhelming. Our single-parent counseling provides practical solutions for the unique challenges of single mothers and single fathers.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor. I work with individuals and families that, I believe, have the capacity to resolve their own problems and make their own decisions with my assistance as a facilitator. My clients are often experiencing difficulty resolving interpersonal and personal problems, finding it problematic in making decisions, and are seeking ways to reduce the stresses encountered in daily living. Your self-awareness, self-esteem, mental health, and independence are my goals.

I received my undergraduate degree in philosophy and psychology at the University of Texas-Austin and went on to my graduate studies at UTRGV.
