Trinity Center has been committed to helping people for over forty years. Our counselors and psychologists work with adults, adolescents and children experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, adjustment and life transitions, relationship issues, family of origin issues and identity concerns. Our goal is to help clients address their individual concerns so that they can live full, engaged lives. In addition to counseling, we offer psychoeducational assessment and spiritual direction services.

I aim to partner with and empower my clients, utilizing the strengths and skills they already possess, to work toward their goals for healing and growth. My counseling orientation is grounded in a family systems approach, though I also draw significantly from attachment theory and person-centered counseling.

Not accepting new clients...I am passionate about healthy relationships and sexual intimacy. Over the past 20 years, I have worked with individuals and couples improving their connections with themselves and others. Clients often come to me desiring relief from relational disconnection, sexuality concerns, anxiety, infidelity, impact of childhood trauma, and career indecision. It is my goal that you leave our first session feeling truly seen and heard and feeling a renewed sense of hope that healing is possible. I am a licensed professional counselor as well as a licensed clinical addictions specialist. I have over twenty years of counseling experience conducting individual, family, and couples counseling. I strive to create an atmosphere that feels safe for people to talk openly about their stories and emotions and help people determine what is best for them to help their current situation.

Through great pain comes better awareness and understanding about ourselves and the world around us. My journey as a counselor began during my experience with war deployments, which inspired my search to find ways to help others who are hurting. After completing my Master's degrees in Couples and Family Counseling, I have worked extensively with the court system, with families in need, and with individuals of all ages. My other passion in life is speaking and learning more Spanish. I offer therapy sessions to adults, children, families, and couples. I am a certified hypnotherapist.

As a family systems therapist, I view clients from the perspective of their holistic environment. Together we will look at where you are coming from, and where you want to go. I work with clients between 13-80 experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, relationship issues, marital conflict, family conflict, major life adjustments, adolescent issues, parenting issues, men’s issues, and more. I also work with couples and families to improve communication, process trauma, and enhance relationships. There is a soft spot in my heart for teens, young families, couples, men, and those who grieve.

Our work is dedicated to helping ALL people develop healthy, satisfying, productive, and meaningful lives. Though it can be difficult to make the decision to begin therapy, we have found that those who have sought help and take responsibility for their emotional heath and relationships have achieved remarkable results. People come to us for a variety of reasons: they may be in transition, experiencing work stress, grieving a loss, struggling with religious or family ideals which no longer suit them, a new parent experiencing anxiety. Some have begun to feel daily life is stagnant, seeking more direction and purpose in their lives.

I come from a community mental health setting and have worked with a wide range of clinical conditions. My approach to counseling includes a family systems and community framework, with a focus on understanding and improving one's relationship to self and others.

As a counselor, I believe that true and lasting change comes from looking at the whole person. I work with patients to bring about transformation through an understanding of the body, emotional healing, behavioral change and a spiritual foundation. I enjoy working with adolescents and families who have been affected by violence, trauma, family changes, drugs and major life changes. I also work with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, life changes, addictions as a result of trauma, self-regulation, stress and conflict. In 2011, I decided to start studying to become a therapist after working as a classroom educator for 16 years, because I saw the failing of the educational system and the struggles of the family system. I started working as a therapist in 2016, and today, we all face a variety of emotional issues that are difficult for to express, name, and discuss. Many people feel as if no one is listening or will listen to them, especially adults on the Autism Spectrum who already struggle with communication. I want to help empower all people on the Autism Spectrum and their support systems.

As a therapist with over 40 years of experience, I specialize in working with individual adults, couples and families. Working from a family systems perspective, I build on my clients' capacities to bounce back from hard times. I engage each unique client in a way that facilitates their being able to challenge their patterns of dealing with stress, anxiety, and depression. Clients have shared that they appreciate the empathy and understanding that I bring to our work together.

My services include working with individual, couples, family counseling with adults, and adolescents. I am LGBTQ+ affirming. My training is in the areas of anxiety and depressive disorders, relationship issues, trauma issues, women’s issues (infertility and postpartum), and developmental transitions. I use a therapeutic approach that reflects eclectic influences derived from my training in cognitive-behavioral, EMDR, person-centered, and family systems. I view problems as generally being developmental in nature, and approach each person, couple, or family in a unique fashion.
