I am a Florida Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Clinical Fellow with American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and a Nationally Registered Drama Therapist (NADTA) working with children, adolescents and adults individually, as couples and in family clusters guiding, teaching, exploring and discovering the truth, the love and the peace within each being. Educated in Transpersonal Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy and Drama Therapy Studies, I see each client as a whole being filled with love. I approach each person with respect, unconditional regard, non-judgment and with the awareness of all possibilities.

As a Marriage & Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience and as a dedicated Christian/Catholic, my therapy addresses the complexity of problems--anxiety, depression and personal issues--in a spiritual context, and in the relationships that we have, here and now. My clients include couples, families and individuals who wish to include their spirituality in therapy. My primary goal is to help you identify emotional and behavioral barriers and to address your individual needs and therapeutic goals. My goal is to help individuals recover from their emotional struggles and lead productive and happy lives by helping them to find their own solutions by identifying destructive patterns, and finding healthy coping skills for all types of emotional and behavioral issues.

My approach begins with a supportive and understanding assessment of the presenting problem and together we develop an individualized treatment plan that addresses you or your family's specific concerns.The first session is intended to create a foundation of trust and discuss the reason you sought treatment. From there sessions, usually about 45-50 minutes in length, map out strategies and review homework assigned to assess the progress of therapy.

Michele has been helping clients in our community, Jensen Beach, Port St Lucie, and Stuart for 5 years and she enjoys working with her clients and associates. Michele is trained and specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Brief Solution Focused Therapies, as well as Systems/Family Therapy. As a graduate of Catawba College, with a double major in Sociology and Clinical Psychology, Michele earned her Master of Social Work degree from Barry University, in Florida.
