What it’s like to come in for therapy? Therapy is about sharing vulnerability that you may not have experienced before, or at least not experienced positively before. We’re not friends, but we have a connection that we build that is professionally intimate and caring. Therapy is about analysis and making meaning of things that you have gone through and are presently dealing with. Sometimes that presents challenges to a person, things that are occurring with us are tough to look at and face- that’s why I’m here. I will help you look at things that are hard to take in and help you to either accept and appreciate or accept and change.

Making the decision to seek help is the the first step towards living a healthier, happier life. The second step is finding the right therapist. I believe that success in therapy is dependent on the strength of the relationship between the counselor and client. I view myself as an advocate, a catalyst for change, and an objective sounding board, rather than an expert who can listen to your problems for an hour and then magically know how to run your life better than you do. You are the expert on you! My job is to help you learn how to help yourself.

I enjoy helping people overcome the sexual and emotional hurdles that hold them back -- sex addiction, porn/fantasy addiction, infidelity/betrayal, body image issues, sexual abuse, spiritual guilt, low self-esteem, lack of sexual confidence, family of origin issues, trust issues, etc. I believe EVERYONE deserves to be a sexually connected, sexually satisfied partner. Healthy sexual relationships can heal a multitude of wounds and bond a couple together in an incredibly synergistic way if they are both willing to do the work to overcome their own fears, anxieties, hurts, and hang-ups.

As a licensed sex therapist I know your sexuality is a legitimate concern and believe that it is your right to receive expert knowledge when seeking assistance for relationship or sexual difficulties. I offer psychotherapy for general concerns, relationship coaching, couples' intensives and retreats as well as educational opportunities for professionals and groups. My couples' intensives and retreats teach and support ongoing intimacy in your relationship through mind/body connection and heart-centered relationship skills. My individual and couples therapy is designed to meet your goals and is a mutual undertaking between us.

I am an AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator Supervisor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in working with individuals of all abilities in areas of sexuality, gender identity, relationship building, intimacy, communication and trauma.

Sexuality should be celebrated! Society often makes it difficult for people to express themselves in this way, and therefore I try to offer a space for clients to freely explore all aspects of their sexuality without judgement. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to develop sexual communication skills, process shame associated with sexuality, and learn how to practice safer (more pleasurable) sex. I have experience with many types of clients, including LGBTQ+ people, femme-people, sex workers, and people discovering themselves later in life.

Keegan knows the road that leads you into the counseling room can be difficult and painful. Whether the catalyst is some form of trauma, abuse, grief, challenges involving sex and sexuality or a desire to seek greater health and self-awareness, this decision is courageous. In counseling, Keegan blends elements of person-centered theory, internal family systems and knowledge about trauma, attachment and family dynamics into an integrative holistic approach.

Carolyn operates from a systems way of thinking. I believe that there are many aspects that can affect each individual and exploring these aspects best helps the individual. I use therapies such as CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, EFT with couples and other modalities. I work with children ages 10+, adolescents, individuals, couples and families. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, divorce, marital separation, premarital counseling, marriage counseling, sexual issues including addiction, affairs, pornography, abuse and LGBTQ+, grief and other situations that may arise.

As a relationship, sex, and gender therapist, I help couples, relationships, and individuals explore identities, navigate non-monogamy, and experience greater pleasure and intimacy. I am passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ folks in exploring and healing from the negative impacts of internalized homophobia, transphobia, and racism as they often manifest in shame, guilt, and low self-esteem.

Most of my clients come to me because they’re struggling with their sex life and they’re pretty sure it’s all their fault. They’re not having the kind of sex that they want or sex has just become an enormous problem in their relationship. I often find that at the root of these issues surrounding sexuality is shame. Sometimes that shame is connected to: poor self-esteem or body image, believing you don’t deserve sexual pleasure, a belief that whatever you’re into is just too "weird" and you want to feel “normal” but can’t shake this particular desire, or societal & cultural expectations of gender roles.
