That’s why as a counselor, I specialize in navigating conflict and transitions within careers, relationships, and self-esteem to help clients regain ownership and rediscover meaning in life.

For over thirty years I've helped adults, children, adolescents and couples resolve their conflicts and lead more satisfying lives. I am flexible in my approach, paying special attention to the individual needs of those whom I treat. I have specialties in the treatment of anxiety, panic disorder, depression, couple/marital counseling, children and adolescents, ADD/ADHD, and bipolar disorder. Working with alcohol and other substance abusers has also been a long term part of my practice. With my wife, Roberta Markowitz,LCSW we conduct interventions, helping families obtain treatment for otherwise resistant family members.

Greetings, I'm Diamante! I am a bilingual Spanish/English licensed clinical social worker in both New York and Texas having worked in the mental health field since 2008. Over the years I've gained experience with people from ages 4 to 70+ from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of mental, emotional, and social challenges. I earned my Bachelors in Sociology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and my Master's in Social Work at Baylor University. I've worked in variety of schools and mental health agencies.

Dr. Michele Winchester-Vega and Associates is a group private practice with over 10 LICENSED professionals that specialize in a variety of modalities and treatment specialties. Treatment is offered to those aged 6 and above and individual, family and group modalities are available.
