I use an integrative approach to counseling based on the unique needs of each client. Recognizing the strengths and resources one already has as well as the potential for change within the human spirit, I view individuals through a lens of positivity that guides the therapeutic experience. My professional experience includes culturally inclusive work with teens and adults. I also work with couples to improve communication, rebuild trust, and increase emotional connection.

Natasha Sanchez, MSW, LIMHP, LICSW, is a community based therapist providing services to those seeking to improve their relationships with others, change or eliminate troubling behaviors and habits, improve their control over mood and anxiety, perform better at school or work, adjust to difficult life events/transitions, and those who simply wish to gain insight into their personal past in order to welcome a bright and more honest future. As a therapist, I see my role as one of helping you change the things you want to change, teaching you some ways to do this and helping explore your life. Old ways can be changed, new ways can be learned. Looking at the way you think about you and your individual experiences, using methods such as CBT and alternative techniques, is part of my therapy work. I am not married to one particular style, but to what works and is effective for you as an individual. I work iprimarily ndividually, amd with some couples. I see teens who are over 17. I am easy to talk to.

Whether working with a client or another clinician, I recognize that I am working with another human who should be viewed as a whole. I believe in supporting clients and supervisees through difficulties by utilizing a person centered approach and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in order to facilitate a space of safety and growth. I am theoretically centered by Existential theory but influenced heavily by Humanistic and Behavioral theories. I am well versed in CBT, DBT, solution focused, health coaching and moderation coaching. My approach to supervision is heavily connected to my therapeutic style.
