I have been providing addiction and mental health services in the WNY community since 1999. I've worked in a variety of settings starting at local agencies eventually advancing into administration. In 2010 I made the decision to step out of that role and into Private Practice. I am an educator and community trainer. I've had the privilege of working with countless individuals and their families as they address their struggles and reached their triumphs battling various addictions and healing their Trauma. I am insightful, direct and never judgmental.

Being human comes with complexities of great loss, love, curiosities and questions. We may reach a point in their experience where they feel like they are not living as their best and most authentic self. This can leave some feeling depressed, anxious, angry and fearful. As well as having ruminating thoughts, social withdrawal and being overwhelmed by it all. While working alongside a therapist, I believe that you can create a healthier and deeper understanding of the self, learn/practice communication skills, and process trauma to navigate and gain depth and perspective on the complexities of life.

For 18 years, I've been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in stress/anger management, navigating relationships, and healing trauma. I have worked extensively with adolescents navigating the complexities of the modern world, young adults transitioning into adulthood, and adults at a crossroads in life. I also assist parents struggling with raising teenagers who transitioned from adorable and affectionate youngsters to challenging adolescents.

Hello! My name is Stephanie. I am an LMSW and psychotherapist with experiences working with mental health and substance use. I approach therapy from a holistic mind/ body perspective. I utilize evidenced based practices such as; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as attachment/ abandonment recovery therapies (and several other modalities listed below). I am additionally a level (2) reiki practitioner, and offer reiki services for ongoing healing and relaxation.
