I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified EMDR Therapist & Consultant, and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) with over 25 years experience working with youth & adults in a wide variety of settings across the treatment continuum. I started our practice, Tranquil Mind Therapy, LLC in 2016, and we have 5 talented therapists providing general and trauma therapy for clients of all ages, from children to older adults! We partner with clients to process and heal from past and present wounds, achieve balance & resilience, & address various challenges with empowering solutions in a warm, safe, confidential therapeutic space.

I have been working in the field of eating disorders & trauma since 2008 and I am committed to help client’s understand and fully overcome their illness so that they have peace within their mind, body, and spirit. I earned her Bachelors of Arts at Rutgers University and Masters of Science at Columbia University. In 2017 I became a certified eating disorder specialist and supervisor and currently hold a leadership role in that organization. I am energetic, passionate, and dedicated to empowering individuals and families who are impacted by eating disorders and mental health and hope to walk along side you in your recovery process.

I work with clients of all ages and have experience working with a variety of presenting concerns including mood disorders, trauma, substance abuse and anxiety-related concerns. I utilize an integrative approach to therapy and works to collaborate with my clients based upon their unique needs and experiences.

I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and a CPTT candidate. My focus is primarily on encouraging the relational healing and post-traumatic growth of relationally betrayed partners. I also work with those that have been impacted by sexual compulsive behavior. Through my training in Brainspotting I help people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences or relational trauma. I am a licensed professional counselor and have worked for the past 25 years in residential and private practice. I provide individual and group counseling for adolescents and adults struggling with trauma and mood disorders, which includes depression and anxiety and any behavioral related problems. My approach to therapy is typically goal-directed, which means your counseling sessions will be designed to help you overcome your current challenges and reach satisfaction.

I am a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in private practice. I have helped many individuals to develop more peaceful lives, working through feelings of depression, anxiety and relationship struggles. I love working with parents, especially because their growth can have such a positive impact on their children. I have a special interest in working with caregivers of special needs children. This passion developed after facing the challenge of parenting my own special needs child. During COVID-19 I will discount rates to make therapy affordable to parents who have medically fragile or behaviorally challenged kids.
