Joseph “Joe” Gallagher, LCPC, NCC, CCTP, BC-TMH, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and a Board Certified-Telemental Health Provider. Joe is a multiculturally competent therapist who is passionate about assisting clients in identifying and achieving their goals. Joe delivers an integrative approach to therapy, believing that every person is intrinsically valuable with a unique story to tell. Joe believes that all individuals have the right to be heard by a caring professional who will provide a safe space to grow and learn to be their best, most happy self.

I offer talk therapy to individuals (18 years and older) who are experiencing mental/emotional health challenges, and require the support of a mental health therapist in order to thrive in their environments. I am able to provide support to any individual residing in any town in the state of Maryland via tele-health and in-person.

TELETHERAPY For more than 15 years I've worked with adults, couples, families, and adolescents in Illinois, DC, and Maryland. I often use a diverse and ethnically sensitive and relevant approach to treatment. It is my goal to provide a non-judgmental and welcoming space for clients to ultimately experience joy, develop more effective coping strategies, and best understand their life's purpose. I value the therapeutic connection and relationship that includes a non judgmental and empathetic environment.

I believe there is an innate desire within every human to be seen and heard, and to receive value and significance. For so many, a message filled with lies was internalized, “Who cares what I think? My feelings aren't important.” My NUMBER ONE focus is to create an atmosphere where my clients feel at ease, and valued and given the freedom to tell their unique and personal story. The meaning of “Therapy” to me is this, “Therapy is the miracle of, “You tell” and “I listen”. Therapy is the wonder of being heard and understood.” The goal of therapy is for the "best you" to emerge as skills and strategies are learned and implemented.

**CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS** Brandon is a mental health therapist passionate about helping community members fulfill their mental wellness goals. Brandon’s clinical experiences are extensive & include work as a psychiatric technician helping youth survivors of sexual trauma, an event coordinator, vocational trainer, & life skills coordinator for the Latin American Youth Center, as well as social worker & program manager for a semi-independent living program in PG County, Maryland. He concentrated his education in the areas of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Motivational Interviewing (MI), which he integrates in therapy.
