I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I received my Masters in Social Work from Boston University. I have worked in various settings in the field as a school based counselor, in-home family therapist and outpatient mental health clinician. I work with adolescents and adults using a strength-based approach.

I credit my arts-focused education for the creative therapeutic approach I bring to my position and to each client. I began my career in the mental and behavioral health field as an art therapist, where I first experienced the transformative power that a compassionate, client-centered, humanistic therapeutic relationship would have on my clients. I have worked as an art therapist and primary clinical therapist in several clinical and hospital settings in NJ, PA, and FL.

Risé Hannah Page has an office in Downtown Rockville, Md. where we are meeting virtually, taking a walk and talk to the local park or meeting in the office and I have a satellite office in Boca Raton, Fl. for virtual appts. Only. I see adults for individual to concentrate on what is currently happening to you with issues ranging from: depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, alcoholism and addictions. I have experienced life challenges and made a decision to work with people who want to turn their lives around. With more than 20 years in the field of mental health, I continue to feel excited that I get to do this work! It is a privilege to witness individuals move beyond a stuck place to a place where they can grow and find the promise of something better. My therapeutic approach consists of helping individuals identify their unique strengths and talents and then use these positive interpersonal resources to create healthier ways to cope with challenges.

My goal as a practitioner is to teach the skills that will create loving healthy relationships with self and the people we care about in our lives. Counseling is provided for children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, gays and lesbians. People struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, careeer choices, addictions, chronic pain, weight loss issues, eating disorders can receive help.

I have thirty-five years of experience in the field of education and counseling. I earned my Master's Degree at Bradley University where I was named The Merle Kaufman Scholar, awarded for outstanding achievement in the College of Education. I did additional graduate work at Nova Southeastern University and have attended and/or facilitated dozens of seminars. My areas of study focused on speech and hearing sciences, learning disabilities, counseling psychology, marriage and family therapy, and human sexuality.
