I specialize in working with adults struggling with anxiety and relationship difficulty.
Do you find yourself anxious and hurt in relationships, no matter what you do? You’re someone who cares about others deeply, but still find your relationships feeling conflictual and confusing, leaving you feeling disconnected, upset, and wondering why these patterns keep happening. Relationships are complex, and disconnection can leave us feeling empty, anxious, and panicked. But you’re ready to make a change. You’re ready to start making sense of patterns. You’re ready to process and heal your own emotions. Most of all, you’re ready to get to the root of your problems so you can actually feel better. I want to help you get there.

I like to work with individuals and couples to help them develop more curiosity about their challenges so that they gain insight into what keeps them from living more abundantly. When indicated, I also explore the roots of personal problems so that people can achieve deeper understanding about themselves and the core issues that get in the way from living more freely and getting the most from their relationships.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
