Lauren Kustec is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Akron and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Lauren has experience working with individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and of all ages. Lauren has provided treatment to individuals with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, PTSD, personality disorders, and other mental health issues that impact daily living.

Juliane has a master’s degree from University of Kentucky and is a supervising licensed independent social worker with 25 years of experience. She has experience working with individuals, families and couples ranging from age 5 to 99 in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, homes, residential treatment facilities, outpatient community mental health and adolescent detention centers. Most recently Juliane has worked with people coping with major illness (particularly cancer).

I have a master's degree from Case Western Reserve University and I am a supervising licensed independent social worker with over 20 years of experience. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in many settings including hospitals, schools, childcare centers, juvenile detention centers, adolescent residential treatment facilities, and outpatient community mental health centers. I especially love working with children and their families, assisting those as young as three years of age.

My professional journey has been shaped by a commitment to providing compassionate support and understanding to individuals on their path to mental well-being. Within the realm of counseling, I specialize in various areas, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), LGBTQIA+ affirmative counseling, ADHD, substance abuse, personality disorders, grief, chronic illness, pregnancy, prenatal and postpartum care, sleep/insomnia management, trauma, and PTSD.

Fairhaven is a safe place where Hope & Healing begin. We even have a therapy dog in the office who loves to accompany adults & children into session. I love to work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, & families. I work with ADHD, Asperger's, depression, abuse recovery, anxiety, grieving, career planning & development with teens & adults. Many of my clients want spiritual direction. I have worked extensively with Christians of all walks and provide gentle Christian direction, if desired. I have also worked with people of the Jewish and Muslim faiths. I see athiests as well, but never try to push faith upon them.
