I am a Licensed Psychologist and the Clinical Director of Sollars and Associates Integrative Counseling and Psychological Services. I have been providing counseling and psychotherapy for over 30 years in the Metro Detroit area and our group practice spans across the state of Michigan. Our group is trained in dealing with a variety of issues including: Attention Deficit Disorder, School Difficulties, Interpersonal Issues such as bullying, adult ADD and related issues, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Mood Disorders, Grief and Loss, Parenting, Educational Concerns, Relationship Concerns, Career and Work Issues, and Sexual Issues.

I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and recently returned to begin my career as a clinical social worker. I previously worked as a Director of Audience Services for several large not-for-profit theaters in Chicago, where I developed my interest in working closely with individuals and groups. In my free time I enjoy gardening, hiking, and spending time with my dogs. I approach work with each Client from a non-hierarchical perspective: I learn with and through my Clients how best to assist them in reaching their goals.

I have training and certifications in TF-CBT, EMDR, MATCH and Gottman Level 1 and I have 100 post graduate direct supervision hours in Florida under my RMFTI (registered marriage and family therapy intern) license.

Hello, my name is Brandon White, LMSW. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work. I know that life is a journey full of ups and downs, joys and pains. I believe clients are their own expert, and that with my guidance they can explore and challenge their own deeply imbedded inner core beliefs, and re-engineer them. Learning and speaking the client's language is tantamount to helping someone move forward towards a positive change. Clients begin to understand themselves better, and this allows the transition. I also believe that fear is one of the most debilitating emotions that we can have. It stops us dead in our tracks. We need to attack the fear, but first understand its roots. I am a fully licensed psychologist with over 40 years of experience treating adolescents, adults, elderly, individuals, couples and families. My approach is eclectic, using whatever therapeutic techniques are appropriate to each individual's needs. I am an interactive therapist. Short term therapy is my preferred approach, in order to enable individuals to become healthier, more functional and to move on without interminable therapy. I am a Wayne State graduate with a Master's degree in Social Work and a Major in Family & Couples concerns. I have several years of child welfare experience and have been working with children and adults as a therapist for over 10 years. I've worked in school settings and have been trained in the areas of grief, loss, trauma and crisis intervention. In addition to my passion for working with children and families, I'm successful in building positive therapeutic relationships with adult clients.
