Our team of licensed therapists offer a wide range of services. We have offices in Naperville, Downers Grove, Palatine, and Aurora, and we also provide telehealth services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults as well as families and couples. Successful clients have reported that I have provided them with a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for treatment, which allowed them to grow and develop new strengths. I utilize a number of strategies to engage individuals and families in treatment, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral (CBT), client centered and family therapies. I believe in and facilitate a strength-based approach to treatment, allowing the individual to develop and recognize their personal strengths.

Often individuals find themselves in a situation that has them stuck in one place, I can help you move forward. I help my clients identify the challenges that are preventing them from achieving their goals, help create a unique and specific plan for each individual, and assist with any obstacles that might get in the way. I have a diverse training background with young children through adults which has granted me the privilege of working with culturally and demographically diverse individuals with various mental health and behavioral concerns, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use concerns, personality disorders, SMI, LGBTQ+ specific concerns, and developmental disorders including autism spectrum disorders and cognitive impairment. Throughout my career path, I have met so many amazing people who have not realized how amazing they truly were. It is a privilege to be able to help other people see their potential and strength.

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor who works with adults, couples, adolescents, and families having difficulties with anxiety, depression, relationships, stress management, chronic pain, and chronic illness. I use a cognitive behavioral approach supplemented as needed with interpersonal skill building, and education. I am solution focused. I provide clients with the tools they need to better themselves and/or their circumstances.

Fred is a motivated and passionate clinician who works with children, adolescents and their families, and adults. Fred has experience working with Anxiety, Depression, Attention Deficit Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsion Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Addictions. Fred also specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This is a very effective approach that can benefit from redirecting negative emotions or compulsions into healthy and positive behaviors. For children, he strives to introduce them to emotional identification via the zones of emotional regulation.

I embrace an eclectic and wellness-based approach to therapy, incorporating elements of Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, and visualization to help my clients better navigate their life’s journey. Clients suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, emotional dysregulation, or sensory processing disorders can also benefit from the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) which is a “bottom-up,” short-term, auditory intervention based on the Polyvagal Theory. The SSP helps restore the nervous system, thereby reducing stress and enhancing social engagement and resilience.
