I'm a neurodivergent psychologist - for me this means I tend to talk and move rapidly & love researching! I believe my neurodiversity could provide a unique lens & approach to your care. I find great joy in helping individuals of all ages become more independent, understand themselves, and achieve their self-identified goals at the pace that is comfortable for their unique circumstances. I consider myself to be a behaviorist with a heart. Simply put, while I am linear and direct in my approach to clinical care, my overall style has been described as coming across as gentle, accommodating, compassionate, transparent, & authentic.

It involves nurturing a secure, cooperative, and culturally attuned therapeutic environment that honors identity and choice. I integrate various therapeutic modalities, informed by cognitive-behavioral, strength-based, solution-focused, and Gottman methods couples therapy. Additionally, I have undergone comprehensive training in EMDR and continually pursue ongoing education to expand its use to treat a range of distressing events.

Psychological suffering can be debilitating to the point where people can become hopeless, but I believe psychoanalytic therapy presents a unique opportunity to deal with suffering. Through the process of therapy, clients can work toward lowering the intensity of their symptoms, find freedom and meaning within their trauma, and strive to live authentically.

My clients are people from a variety of backgrounds. They often seek me out due to overwhelming problems/conflict in their personal lives and their workplaces. At times they may experience feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, anger. rejection, and low self-esteem, but they want to get better and be happier. As a therapist, I see clients through challenging times and adverse situations.
