Dr. Poppy’s approach to psychotherapy develops client-centered foundations of empathy, acceptance, and support with clients to facilitate cognitive-behavioral and family systems therapies. His assessment interest areas include attention, mood, personality, developmental disorders, autism, and learning. His interest areas for therapy include child behavior, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, life adjustment, and couple and family relationships. He welcomes opportunities to recognize and support diversity.

Jennifer has over 18 years of clinical effectiveness in working toddlers, children and adolescents, college students, and adults. Jennifer has certifications and specializations in multiple areas, including Theraplay, Guided Drawing, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), Critical Incident and Stress Debriefing (CISD), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Sensory Processing and Emotional Regulation, Mental Health First Aid, Trauma, Domestic Violence, Emotional Intelligence, Title IX and is a Real Colors Facilitator.

Nigel Turk is Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois. Nigel is able to offer empathy and support while collaborating with clients on the journey to meeting personal goals, using an appreciation for theme and a keen eye for recognizing patterns to help clients find a deeper understanding, grounded in a holistic, strength-based, and systems-oriented approach to client care. Outside of work, Nigel enjoys creative writing, knitting and crocheting, almost all kinds of games, and spending time with their three cats.

First and foremost, if you are reading this, I want you to know that I see the strength it took for you to take this step in asking for help. I work with clients ages 3 and up to navigate many life challenges - whether that is reprocessing past trauma, struggling in relationships, infertility/perinatal struggles, or navigating the day to day stressors of life. Being a member of the military/veteran community, I am also passionate about working with military/veterans and their family members on the unique challenges they face in their day to day life. I hope to help each person rewrite their story into something they can be proud of.

Dr. Blair Brown is a regional clinical director and licensed clinical psychologist providing therapeutic and psychological testing services for children, adolescents, and adults. She oversees her region of outstanding clinicians and treats patients individually, as part of a couple, or as a family. Dr. Brown received her doctoral degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL and completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Streamwood Behavioral Health Hospital.
