I believe that people are innately capable and good, and I work with clients to help them access the capacity to heal. I believe in the healing power of relationships, and I work with clients to develop and improve those relationships so that they can provide support, connection, compassion, and safety as they struggle to overcome life challenges, depression, anxiety, trauma, and other struggles. I also believe that, for some, healing relationships that have suffered pain and betrayal is critical to long-term recovery.

Tamara is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator trained by Dr. Brené Brown and her team. Tamara studied marriage and family dynamics in her doctorate program. She is certified in the Gottman marriage counseling method I & II and utilizes Sue Johnson's theory of Emotionally Focused Therapy for repairing attachment in couples work. Tamara is trained in EMDR therapy I & II which is used for treating trauma.

Todd and his wife Adelita are active members of First Baptist Church in Mansfield, Texas. They have two children, Avery & Aleksandra. Both he and his wife enjoy both indoor and sand volleyball, tennis, being outdoors, and working on the house. They value both friends and family and enjoy the opportunity to spend time with them. My degree specialization was child and adolescent counseling, where I focused uniquely on trauma-informed therapy. I completed my internship at a domestic violence agency where I offered such care to children, adolescents, and adults.

I have over 20 years experience and I love to work with children and families, and my specialties include children learning differences, including ADHD, Autism, 2e, Dyslexia and other neurodivergences. We work on creating larger goals at first, while also looking into smaller steps to reach those larger goals.
