I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Texas Tech University and my Master of Social Work at Stephen F. Austin State University. My passion is working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. My goal is to foster a safe environment for all my clients to explore feelings and emotions that have been creating distress. With younger children, I understand that it may be harder to communicate their feelings with words and play therapy can be used to more effectively explore their thoughts. My hope is to create a therapeutic relationship to guide the client toward positive coping skills and start leading more enriching lives. I believe that each client has the ability and the capacity within themselves to become empowered and thrive.
