With more than 11 years of expertise, I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. I believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every person. Our clinical focus is a "hybrid" approach combining Dialectical and Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Relational/Experiential therapy, primarily for the adolescent and emerging adult, but also working with adults, families and couples. Our clients struggle with regulating emotions, distress tolerance, core emptiness (confusion about oneself), as well as interpersonal conflict with frequent emotional chaos. Our time-limited, solution-focused technique is often sought to augment a person's existing individual therapy. Our approach is also effective in treating depression, self-injury, anxiety - focusing on coping skills. We are comprised of 4 licensed clinicians offering both individual, couple and group therapy.

Sandstone Care provides substance use, addiction, and mental health treatment for young adults (ages 18 to 30) and adolescents (ages 13 to 18) including Residential Treatment, Day Treatment (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and General Outpatient (OP) programming.

Amy is a counselor who works primarily with adults and young adults. She has worked in the mental health field and medical field for over 8 years, practicing in the field of counseling for the previous 5 years. She has an undergraduate degree in nursing from Texas Christian University as well as a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from The University of Denver. Amy’s unique understanding of both the medical and emotional aspects of a client allows her to conceptualize the individual as a whole.

I have over 10 years experience in the field of trauma with emphasis on sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, interpersonal/relational conflict and life transitions. I received my BA and MA from Naropa University in Boulder, CO which has a philosophy rooted in the belief that all individuals have the tools within themselves to heal from even the most difficult of experiences. My therapeutic foundation is rooted in this same philosophy. My ideal client is anyone eager to reclaim who they truly are with curiosity, compassion and raw vulnerability. By discovering this inner truth, they are set free.

Kim McManus is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Health Coach, and Certified Personal Trainer with over twenty five years of experience. Kim enjoys working with adult individuals and couples using an integrative approach which focuses on assessing the client's situation from a holistic approach and then providing evidenced based interventions that will work best for each client based on their individual needs and preferences. She specializes in mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, personal wellness, addictions, self-esteem, occupational stressors, and challenges related to life transitions.
