Not accepting new clients
*** Not accepting new clients *** I truly believe that we all do the best we can and that we always have options and room for growth. As a counselor, I employ the use of an integrative approach which assists clients in their process of working through and with life experiences. I enjoy brainstorming with the client; to identify goals, learn and practice skills that enhance their individual abilities in a healthy manner. Such therapy is particularly well-suited to people, couples, and families who are struggling with life transitions, and have a genuine desire to pursue personal and professional growth.

As your therapist, I am committed to improving your life.
It is common for people to say therapy hasn’t helped much and in many cases has even made things worse. Understandably, this increases people’s fear and doubt about therapy being able to help them. I find that most therapy is ineffective and most therapist are poorly trained. Because of this, I have been deeply committed to becoming a much better therapist providing the most modern and effective therapeutic approaches. The people I work with regularly report more significant energy, relief, and sense of lightness. They also tend to share that the process was quick, effective, and enjoyable. Do you often please others at the expense of yourself? Perhaps you keep repeating unhealthy relationship patterns - searching for proof of your worthiness in relationships outside of yourself. How loud is your inner critic? Are you hiding guilt and shame behind masks of happiness? Are you indecisive - valuing others' opinions over your own? Do you often feel overwhelmed? You are not alone. Many of my clients feel this way, and I can tell you that there is hope. There is another way to live. You are strong and resilient, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. This life can be amazing. I can help you remember how to heal yourself.

Counseling, life coaching and spiritual direction is my life's passion.
I am currently taking new Clients. I believe that we are far more than what we present to others. Along the journey, we sometimes lose touch with our authentic self. This loss reveals itself in many ways: Dissatisfaction in relationships, Questions about career/vocation, Feelings of depression/anxiety, eating too much or too little, Lack of confidence, Uncertainty about life choices, Physical/emotional weariness, Spiritual confusion and Disillusionment. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University and additional intensive Masters Study in Human Relationships. My undergrad degree is in Education with emphasis in health: body, mind and spirit.

I believe that we all possess unique abilities to help ourselves in any phase of life.
For many of us, it is hard to ask for help when we really need it. Many say that is due to a sense of pride or just plain stubbornness. Realizing we cannot move through the world alone is scary. It can be even more terrifying to be vulnerable with another person. Through that vulnerability comes growth, and watching my clients move through this process is my favorite part of the job. By building and fostering a therapeutic relationship we can help identify core problems, set goals, and find ways to help you be your best self.

As each person is unique, the best therapy is individualized. I am very flexible in meeting your needs through a variety of different approaches. I believe that people can change and that emotional suffering can be transformed. We will focus on gaining insights about the cause of your suffering, while also building new skills for managing the storms of life. Even though many problems seem overwhelming or impossible to change, by working together on seemingly small pieces we can bring about lasting changes that help you to have more of the life you want.

I am a heart-centered, intuitive therapist who is here to help you feel heard in life as I help you create a plan for change.
Having a difficult time shutting your mind off at night? Feeling lonely and stressed? Experiencing disconnect with your partner? You know something has to change in your life but just not sure what it is yet. It does not have to be this way as there are ways therapy can help much faster than you think. As an experienced heart-centered, intuitive therapist, I am "unshockable" and can handle whatever you are struggling with. I am here to help you feel more connected to others and to learn to feel joy again. My passion is working with motivated individuals and couples who are ready to incorporate more somatic, integrative treatments.

Have past hurts, trauma, and loss impacted your ability to have a healthy relationship with yourself and others? Do you struggle to love and accept yourself, manage your anxiety, have healthy relationships, and/or feel confident? I love working with women to navigate their specific needs including identity, anxiety, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, motherhood, body image, strained/broken relationships, shame/guilt, perfectionistic tendencies, and overwhelm. I love seeing women let go of the past, change their inner dialogue, learn to find calmness, and show up as who they want to be.

Waitlist for new clients
Taking Clients for a Waitlist Ony! Do you feel stuck, anxious and depressed and wonder what is wrong with you? Personal crisis, work burnout, the loss of a loved one, and stressful situations like those of 2020 make life even harder. Just deciding to change, talking yourself through it or “pulling yourself up by the boot straps” doesn't always work. Sometimes your pain is deep and rooted in the past. Maybe it’s not clear to you and held in your subconscious. That is often a normal outcome when we don’t get the support we need in our time of struggle. I will be offering groups for hypnosis stop smoking and weight loss in Feb

Hi! We all go through periods in our lives where a little extra help and guidance is necessary. Whatever struggle may be presenting itself in your life, I believe you have the ability to make it through this challenge with increased insight, compassion and the tools to thrive. I believe treatment works best through a collaborative, supportive and non-judgmental approach where my role is to help guide and equip you with the necessary tools and coping skills. Ultimately, though, you are the expert in your healing process.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
