Reconnect is a transformational outpatient center specializing in treating the real causes of addiction, depression and anxiety by addressing TRAUMA with individual, intensive therapy and healing. By deeply exploring underlying trauma, we approach post traumatic stress disorder, addiction, and mood disorders with an elevated sense of awareness, compassion and knowledge. The result is a sense of reconnection with one's self. We have two facilities: Center and Clinic. Our center constitutes of an interdisciplinary team. Our clinic is a training facility with registered associates under the direct supervision of Dr. Karol Darsa, PsyD.

As the global pandemic has shown us, sometimes life becomes overwhelming and uncontrollable. During these times it may be best to talk with someone outside of your community of family, friends or co-workers. A warm hearted professional to lend a moment of support and guidance. I share with clients in deciding how best to approach the issues, with the intent of addressing both the current distressing symptoms and long-standing patterns of behavior that are getting in the way of a thriving life. My practice is telehealth-based, and I accept direct pay (some prefer for privacy) as well as most PPO plans as an Out of Network provider.

I believe everyone can obtain mental stability and peak performance even during life transitions and crisis situations. At One Neuro our clinicians provide therapy, tailored evaluations, mindfulness, and neurofeedback, treatment for children and adults who experience low achievement, attentional challenges, learning difficulties, and developmental disorders. We also work with individuals who have complex medical conditions (e.g., tics, concussion, migraines, epilepsy, chronic pain, sleep difficulty, cancer, TBI, genetic conditions) that may be impacting their adaptive functioning.

I believe that it takes courage and a certain amount of fearlessness to reach out for support. My goal is to make the therapy experience as welcoming and individualized as possible. I specialize in teaching both adults and children specific ways to manage anxiety, learn and practice mindfulness strategies, and make behavioral changes in order to improve their overall quality of life. I believe that having unconditional support for your emotional well-being is key, especially during times of uncertainty, and am here to help implement lasting changes.

I am a licensed psychologist primarily serving adults and adolescents who struggle with depression and anxiety; borderline personality disorder; substance and alcohol use; relationship distress; emptiness; intolerable emotions; impulsive behaviors including suicidal and self-injurious behavior; eating concerns; and histories of trauma. My therapeutic approach centers on utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT was initially developed to treat borderline personality disorder but is now used to effectively treat a broad spectrum of psychological problems by focusing on enhancing the skills necessary to not only cope but thrive in a world full of obstacles.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in providing individual psychotherapy, primarily with adults, who are experiencing challenges in coping with anxiety, depression, personal transitions, and general life stressors. I received a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University and both my Doctorate of Psychology Degree and an additional Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology-Alliant International University.
