Anne has been working in the mental health profession for over 25 years. She provides individual & couples therapy, as well as parent coaching, and weight management/Intuitive Eating support groups. She helps couples re-connect, overcome communication barriers, and create a deeper understanding and greater sense of connectedness with one another. Anne works with individuals to help clients achieve mood stability; reduce their stress with greater balance in every day living; create more fulfilling relationships; and find resilience to clear away obstacles, or painful memories, to finding a renewed joy and sense of direction in their lives.

I have been counseling for over twenty years, and working with people is truly my passion. I work primarily with teens, adults, and couples, with an emphasis in working with first responders . I specialize in self-harm behaviors, eating disorders, relationship conflict, depression, anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem, and abuse issues. As a Christian counselor I integrate Biblical truths with psychological principles. I believe it is the job of the counselor to provide a safe, supportive, challenging, and collaborative environment for each client that enters the office. I work with many insurance companies as an out-of-network provider only.

Louise focuses on adults experiencing life changes such as empty nesting, divorce, career changes, retirement, caring for a family member, loss/grief, healing from trauma and supporting professionals in the social work field. She has recently received her RYT 200-hour yoga teacher training and often incorporates somatics, mindfulness, and nature-based techniques in sessions. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been in the field for over 16 years. She received her MSW from George Mason University and has extensive experience working with adults, families and youth in the Washington D.C. area, Arizona and Oregon.

I work with relationships-the dance between the Feminine and Masculine. My interactions with couples & families experiencing conflict, relationship challenges and recovering from wounds leaves them feeling a sense of renewal. My focus on the Feminine specifically aims to help women develop confidence to live the life they desire. I have cared for people experiencing a broad range of struggles including marital betrayal, depression, relationship conflict, decision-making, or grief. It is so important for me to hear the individuals I work with, help make sense of their world and give them valuable tools to make the changes they need.

A Lion's Way Counseling has developed a program for girls and women to discover their inner lioness. This program is a unique combination of coaching and counseling. We incorporate esteem building techniques, empowerment, fitness, goal setting, lifestyle, and therapy. It's a fun, positive and proactive approach. A Lion's Way Program includes: Goal setting, Educational, Fitness, Spirituality, Career, Financial, Health, Lifestyle, Self-awareness, Self-confidence, and more. The program includes both individual and family sessions.
