My therapeutic work is based on the idea that people by nature are relational beings with physical, spiritual, emotional, and social components, and that the exploration and integration of these aspects can be life changing and enhancing.

I have a long history of supporting Autistic and ADHD folks - neurodivergency of all kinds is welcome here! Through therapy we can learn so much about ourselves and our goals which we might not even be aware of up to this point. Part of my belief in therapy is centered in the idea that each person is capable of reaching their desired self or achieving self actualization. I believe individuals and relationships are trying to find their best possible versions of self. In my practice I emphasize promoting communication and emotional awareness.

Evergreen Behavioral Health is a growing group practice of trauma trained clinicians located in Salem, OR. Evergreen provides counseling services that specialize not only in standard trauma treatment, but in providing therapeutic services focused on attachment trauma and breaking up the cycle of intergenerational trauma. Evergreen provides services to children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. Here at Evergreen we value the experience and healing that face-to-face, in-person sessions provide. While we offer telehealth as a backup option, we encourage clients to attend in person.

Dr. Ellyn Singer has been working in mental health for nearly 29 years. Throughout the course of her career, Dr. Singer has treated adults/adolescents, couples and families experiencing depression, suicidality, anxiety, personality disorders and addictive behaviors. She currently works in an intensive psychiatric facility as an individual/ family therapist. Dr. Singer also trains/supervises associates in Maternal Mental Health, Family/Child Therapy.
