Eva offers both in-person & virtual sessions. She utilizes talk therapy, with a person-centered & strength-based approach. She integrates varying techniques and interventions to personalize sessions, and if necessary, will incorporate case management skills to locate needed resources.

Sexual addiction (SA) is a hidden addiction. It is a global problem, under-reported, and largely untreated. SA harms relationships, creates relational trauma for partners, and damages trust and intimacy in relationships. Addicts often engage in secrecy and feel shame and guilt about their behavior. Partners often feel betrayed and traumatized by the addicts behavior. Intimacy issues are often an underlying concern for both individuals and for couples. Like other addictions, SA can get progressively worse over the years. If untreated, SA can lead to relationship loss, divorce, job loss. financial problems, and legal problems.

Oh, the places and ways we get stuck! Trauma can make life feel unbearable. Doubt and fear can trip us up in our most-desired plans. Confusion about who we are and why we are here can plague us as we seek direction. The modality and practice of art psychotherapy combined with my background in depth psychology create a therapeutic experience that supports your own internal wisdom in the process. I am also practical and provide immediate skills to my clients for managing stress, changing detrimental thought patterns and behaviors, and gaining insight.

I fully believe that clients do well if they can! This being said, sometimes life becomes too difficult to manage and maneuver on our own and we need a little support and guidance. The therapeutic process is based on a clients strength, their drive, what coping skills they have, and what they know already works for them. The therapeutic process takes time, it is hard, but given enough support and strength, the process is worth it. My focus is on helping clients, families, and couples create an environment that is positive and healthy all around.

My focus is on helping people discover their innate sense of Self and purpose in life. Energies necessary for vitality, joy, and love can sometimes become blocked by trauma and its effects—including anxiety, panic, depression, or PTSD, and when one considers all that is happening in our world these days, simply coping can seem to push us to our limits.

Showing up is the most important and often hardest part of this process. Once you make it to the office, we can usually find a direction for change you feel connected to. If we don't show up, change isn't likely to occur. I don't care if you are sad, angry, rageful, confused, indifferent, suicidal, or in despair, if you show up, I promise to do the same. If we can't make space for the spectrum of our humanity in the therapeutic space then where can we? I believe people are genuinely trying to do the best they can with what they have, and sometimes what we have isn't useful for the immediate situation. So, we get help.
