Dr. Kioko is a mental health provider with 9 years of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and 22 years as a bedside Registered Nurse in different clinical settings including psychiatric units, medical-surgical, Neuro, oncology, Cardiac, and orthopedic units. This diverse experience has given me the tools and expertise to provide mental health care to patients in a holistic manner. My care focuses on diversity and inclusion to improve the health and promote thewellbeing of the individual, family, and community as a whole. I'm offering in-person appointment for patients in Tucson and Tele-psychiatry for those out of state and ones who do not want to do in-person appointments. We service clients from the age of 8 and above dealing with mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance abuse disorders. I provide services both in Arizona and Colorado.
My treatment approach is collaborative and patient centered. I treat each person as an individual with unique history and mental health needs . Treatment usually includes medications, supportive therapy, and/or both.
