As a therapist, my special interests are working with clients struggling with Post-Partum, Eating, Family/Relationship, Depression, and Anxiety-related issues. Clients I work with are mentally and emotionally open and seeking to gain perspective, detect and work on their own maladaptive patterns/habits, and receive support. I have found strong alliances with clients who are insight-oriented, and who are seeking to turn their existential questions to practical solutions as they are analyzing themselves and their world. I believe each individual is greater than the sum of their parts- a disposition guiding my practice.
I provide extensive support and validation as clients work on making any changes which is a delicate process. I offer judgment with compassion and sensitivity which my clients have found especially helpful. I consider the complex interactions clients exchange with their environments and the people in their lives which inform their cognitions and choices.
