I have many years of experience serving a variety of clients, including working with people living with HIV or other chronic illnesses, clients and families at the end of life, women's health, community mental health serving individuals with serious and persistent mental health challenges, and as Clinical Director of a mental health program at an agency specializing in LGBTQ clients. I've also been in private practice for seven years.
One of the biggest predictors of success in therapy is not the techniques or modalities that a therapist uses, although they are important. The most important tool a therapist can use to help a client heal is the quality of the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist.
