I am a clinical psychologist who works with individual adults facing a variety of challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, sadness, low self esteem and relationship difficulties. I listen carefully, create space to explore, and work collaboratively. I work with my clients to identify patterns, conflicts, and obstacles that may be keeping them stuck, and/or preventing them from making changes for the better. In addition to obtaining my Ph.D. in clinical psychology with an emphasis in multicultural and community clinical psychology, I recently completed a two year long psychoanalytic psychotherapy training program.
Each one of us possesses the ability to grow and improve our lives. Therapy provides an opportunity to better understand one's self, strengthen inherent abilities, be in better contact with a range of feelings, acquire new skills, strengthen relationships, and experience a better quality of life.
I am also a Qualified Medical Examiner who performs workers' compensation evaluations at various locations. In addition, I am available to perform Immigration Hardship Evaluations, and have conducted evaluations and provided treatment for injured longshoremen. I provide timely, thorough, clear, evidence-based medical-legal evaluations and reports.
