Hi! Are you seeking a compassionate, dedicated therapist to guide you on your journey toward mental wellness and self-discovery? I use evidence-based practices to help my clients heal from trauma and manage relationships. I have extensive training working with people from all walks of life. I specialize in trauma and addictions counseling, confidence building, issues associated with difficult life transitions, and relationship boundary work. In addition, I work with professionals who struggle with anxiety and depression in the workplace. I genuinely look forward to helping you on your journey to a wellness-filled life.

My specialty and biggest passions are helping survivors of trauma heal mentally, emotionally, and physically. I assist clients in becoming the best they can be by teaching mood regulation skills, relationship-enhancing skills and accepting themselves fully. I am trained in EMDR, TF-CBT, ACT and Brainspotting.

I have been a counselor for 9 years. I am also a licensure supervisor, and I teach psychology courses to psychology students. I also provide internships for master-level students in their journey to counseling. I love doing this work to help others see their full potential. Anger Management Skills Group: Now Available

This group is a safe and supportive space where individuals can share experiences, feelings, and challenges related to anger without judgement. Participants will learn from the experiences of others in the group , gaining insights into different coping strategies and perspectives on managing anger. Group sessions often focus on teaching practical skills such as real action techniques, communication skills, stress management and emotional regulation skills to manage anger better. Groups Start 1.19.24 for 15 weeks at noon every Friday.

The goal of this group is to help participants build resilience in the fact of adversity, develop healthy coping strategies for managing life’s challenges, and foster a positive mindset. The goals for the group include: understanding resilience: Participants will have a clear understanding of what resilience is and why it is important for mental health and well being; Participants will be able to identify common stressors in their lives and recognize how these stressors impact their emotions, thoughts and behaviors. Participants will have an increase self awareness to recognize their own coping mechanisms and patterns of response to stress.
