I am a Certified Sex Therapist by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. I have specialized training in treating clients with sexual issues and concerns, and extensive training in sexuality education. My approach to therapy is to promote proper care of our bodies for optimal health & functioning. I work with individuals or relationships of all kinds to focus on a personalized therapy experience and approach to living life in a way that supports clients through all dimensions of wellness. I believe sexuality is at the core of the human experience & an inherent & essential dimension of being human.
As a current PhD candidate at the University of Iowa, I utilize a solution-focused approach to therapy and I believe change is possible through the presence of support and compassion in therapy. I also believe clients achieve wellness through incorporating a focus on multiple aspects of health including mental, physical, & sexual.
My goal is to provide a safe and supportive arena to help you tap into your own internal and external resources for change.
