I believe every troubled relationship has a repetitive pattern with roots of this pattern caused by attachment wounds. My approach looks at how the role we played in our childhood, influences our current relationships, especially as a parent or spouse. I enjoy working with married couples who are experiencing conflict, especially while raising their children. I am also a certified perinatal therapist and enjoy supporting women in postpartum. I offer effective strategies that are based in neuroscience. Together, we will look how your nervous system was wired in childhood to think and behave how you do. We will assess how you look to your spouse or kids to meet some of the same needs your parents were supposed to meet. Your relationship problems did not start in your marriage or motherhood.
I am a wife and mother of 3 children who has greatly benefitted from therapy and my own self awareness. My relationship with God is utmost important and vital to my life. I enjoy working with client's from a variety of faith backgrounds or those who have been hurt or confused by religion. My style is direct, goal-oriented, and utilizes a coaching approach.
