Dr. Harrington specializes in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of child and adolescent trauma ( e.g., physical/sexual abuse, grief, loss) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Dr. Harrington employs a vast array of brief, evidenced-based treatment approaches (i.e., CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy.)
Dr. Harrington is also an experienced trainer, supervisor and consultant in the field of child trauma. She served as a trainer, supervisor and consultant for the Dartmouth Trauma Interventions Research Center, and implemented research training protocols in Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to mental health providers across New Hampshire.
