We all live through stress that can set us up to work against ourselves - stress from recent events, chronic situations, or stress from an old wound in our heart that never healed. We can develop habits in our behavior and thinking, bad habits that add to our stress and emotional turmoil. My passion is to help individuals overcome anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and pet loss. You may also struggle with life transitions, relationship conflicts, perfectionism, people-pleasing tendencies, loneliness, and isolation. A subject close to my heart is pet grief. Pet grief is real. It can be quite devastating to lose a pet.

I help people make new choices in their thinking and behavior, better choices to improve resilience and health. My orientation is a blend of client-centered therapy. I draw upon evidence-based techniques such as CBT, CPT, mindful self-compassion, and other modalities. My approach is warm and accepting while maintaining focus on the purpose of the treatment.
