Welcome! I am Betsy Singer-Lefton, a licensed professional counselor. I am a therapist because I believe deeply in people’s capacity to grow, and heal, and aspire to help people live their best lives. I am currently accepting new clients ages 7 to adult, with available weekdays until 7:00pm for in-person or telehealth counseling sessions.
I have had a long career of working with young people, primarily in the fine arts, and was motivated to become a therapist by my experiences as an educator and a parent. Life should feel better than this, and it can. I look forward to hearing your story and helping you develop a toolkit of coping skills and and strategies that will last well beyond therapy.
Every one of us has a narrative that tells of personal struggle and innate strengths, even if we are not aware of what those strengths might be. Through empathetic listening and integrated therapeutic techniques, I will help you untangle the struggles and build your unique path to positive change and mental wellbeing.
