How do you start? It starts with a conversation. The idea that therapy is is about giving advice, a one sided conversation, couldn’t be farther from the truth. Therapy is for you, to let out what’s been holding you back, to figure out how to cope with situations so that you can wake up tomorrow feeling like a better version of you. I want you to achieve your goals through use of talk therapy where we can process your thoughts, feeling and behaviors together.
You shouldn’t have to feel struck with anxiety, low with depression, hurt by bad relationships or holding grudges. The goal is to help you end the emotional suffering that we tend to put ourselves through and to deal with life’s problems head on. I want you to find meaning in friendships, work, partners, family and all other life areas.
My approach to therapy is to work through the grief, build self-esteem and confidence and to see the positives that can come from your life. Through use of CBT (talk therapy), and Progressive Counting, we can learn new ways of processing trauma. I have helped individuals with grief and loss, trauma, depression, infertility and anxiety.
