Everyone has a story to tell. Sometimes it is filled with dark twists and turns, shadows, and the unexpected. Other times it is full of light, gentle breezes, and warmth. Stories are often full of both and it can be daunting to try and revisit some of the harder chapters alone. I offer a place of solace for your stories. A place where we can open and read each chapter of it together, learn from them, and gather tools to face the battles ahead. A place where we can challenge the things that still haunt us from these stories, and then put them on a shelf, a reminder of where you came from and what you’ve overcome.
I help clients build up their self-esteem, learn new ways of thinking, and face the monsters in their own narratives through a combination of therapy types with a focus on narrative and DBT-informed therapies. I also help clients in their narratives as a certified therapeutic tabletop game master
There are so many paths we take, choices we make, and the story we write for ourselves impacts us in both external and internal ways. Even as counselors, we have made and still make our own choices that change our stories. So, hang up your armor, put down your sword, and come tell me your story.

From War to Peace: A ROOT tabletop therapy group
The Forest is at war between the old and the new. The Marquisat has moved in and threatens the Eyrie's already unstable rule over it. Towns have been taken over, some destroyed and a group of rebels has risen up to reclaim the forest for the people. You are a nomad, someone who does odd jobs for hire for all sides of the war. Will you try to help establish peace or will you just push the war even further, or will you walk the thin line of all sides? You are your group will decide.

ROOT: Internal Forest Warfare
Come join us for a game of ROOT in this Therapeutic Tabletop group. Here we tackle our internal fears and worries using forest animals trying to stop a war in the forest. This is an adult group with the focus on communication, anxiety, and building skills in a safe place. We meet twice a week on Wednesdays from 6pm - 8:30pm. Price is $180 a month and is charged all at once. Insurance not accepted.
