I work from a perspective which Irvin Yalom refers to as the therapist as a fellow traveler. I believe the therapy process is collaborative and sacred and therefore do not utilize a 'blank slate therapist' approach.
I utilize a trauma-conscious, mindfulness-based, integrative, and psychodynamic approach to therapy in order to aide clients in improving their insight, deepening self-compassion, tending to the nervous system, processing emotional wounds, and implementing personalized skills to manage discomfort and distress in their lives.
