Therapy can be challenging because it requires vulnerability. Luckily, we can take it on together. We build trust, create a safe and non-judgemental environment, and begin to process life together. The more open we are, the more we can challenge perspectives, and make change. We will work to increase insight, enhance self-awareness, and incorporate healthy coping skills into your routine.
I primarily use evidence-based practices, such as CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), to help manage symptoms. However, we will adjust the approach as needed because everyone is an individual with their own background with different needs. We will process thoughts and feelings to help better understand how they impact behaviors and decision-making.
