Mood and anxiety disorders are common for those struggling with addiction, and not receiving the right care can result in increased relapses and a poor quality of life. When a new client is ready to work with me they will find a compassionate and open counselor with the knowledge to treat multiple disorders and to deal with each one effectively. Being collaborative, I enjoy connecting family members and physicians in your care as well as helping you find community-based recovery resources
I specialize in treating those with both substance use and mental health and I also work well with clients who need just one type of treatment. I am intensively trained in treating members of the LGBTQI community and consider myself an ally. I also provide affirming care for those who prefer counseling without religious/spiritual influence
I want to provide a safe, happy, and authentic relationship with each of my clients. I will work with you for as long you need to get well. My goal is to help clients look at the bigger picture, find ways of coping with multiple problems and issues, and to improve their lives.
