My goal as your therapist is to support you in your journey to becoming the best you possible by providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you can navigate life’s challenges and find hope. My approach is collaborative and compassionate with a focus on personal strengths and recognition of individual’s unique experiences. I hope that together we can work on developing a deeper personal understanding, address difficulties, and learn ways to manage problems in order to find healing, hope, and comfort in daily life.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is an evidence-based psychotherapy for PTSD and can help with processing of traumatic memories or experiences. I specialize in premarital/couples work (certified in Prepare Enrich), parent/child relationships, behavioral issues, self-esteem issues, trauma, depression, and anxiety.
