Growing up isn't easy. Today's adolescents experience more stress, expectations, and worries than ever. My passion is helping people who are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, which can lead to depressive/anxious symptoms, and poor coping skills. I bring compassion, honesty, and humor into our sessions, creating a safe, trusting space. I believe in the resiliency everyone has to work through challenges. I include parents and the child in our work, a crucial piece for consistency in communication, and navigating the increasing stressors kids face. On a personal note, I'm also a mom, and can empathize with daily demands of family life.

Areas of focus in my practice are therapy, and testing, with children, adolescents and adults. I provide Neuropsych/Psych evaluations, Autism evaluations to provide diagnosis and recommendations for schools or treatment. I have 14 years experience in school settings and special education settings, working with many local districts.

I've worked in hospitals, therapeutic schools, private practice. My background is cognitive-behavioral, focusing on a strength-based approach. Specialties: anxiety, depression, "perfectionist tendencies," Autism Spectrum Disorder, AD/HD, family issues, divorce, self-esteem, social and peer issues.
