I use a person-centered approach and believe the relationship between the client and therapist is the key to successful therapy. I provide a safe space for clients to develop helpful coping skills in a warm, empathetic, and non- judgmental environment. We will work together on methods to challenge your negative thinking, improve your mood, and manage stress. I tailor clients’ therapy experience based on their needs such as educating about attachment styles when working on relationship issues, teaching calming strategies for anxiety, and teaching adults and children practical strategies for managing ADHD symptoms at school and home.
I enjoy working with adults, teens, and adolescents struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, family dynamics, relationship concerns, body image concerns, school/work stressors, ADHD, and unhealthy communication patterns. I greatly value guiding clients through intuitive eating practices to promote a healthy relationship to food and body image.
I use a variety of therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior therapy techniques, and attachment-based therapy to aid in clients in developing healthy emotional adult relationships.
