My approach is holistic in nature, applying mind, body and spirit. For over seven years, I have worked with adults in a variety of settings. I have had the privilege of coming alongside individuals who are going through intense and often life-changing situations. All of these relationships are personal to me and through these experiences I have come to learn the devastating effects painful life events has on lives. I know therapy can feel scary and vulnerable. Just the thought of it can feel overwhelming and exhausting. And yes, it can even feel risky. It takes courage to confront fears and ask for help.
Sometimes we feel stuck and don’t know how to get unstuck. Fortunately, there is a solution. EMDR is a proven and effective method for treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety and self-destructive behavior and so much more. EMDR is not talk therapy. Your brain can process information faster than you can talk, therefore it is a quicker method of therapy.
You do not have to share with me what you do not want to share in order to have successful therapy. What you choose to share is up to you. You’re in control and you can set the pace. Through therapy, you’ll be able to process the past, so that you can thrive in the present and make sound goals for your future. Ultimately, gaining Emotional Freedom.
