Thanks for your interest in therapy. I believe that all people are capable of change and growth and that therapy can be an invaluable tool for increasing happiness in one's life and relationships. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults using individual, couples, and family therapy modalities. I strive to blend warmth and understanding with challenges for growth and change. Using cognitive behavioral techniques, I assist clients in addressing thought patterns, emotional patterns and behavioral patterns to increase happiness and satisfaction!
I have extensive experience in treating Depression and Anxiety and utilize EMDR in recovery from trauma. I work with children and families who are recovering from divorce. I understand domestic relations cases and approach problems from a practical standpoint, emphasizing the importance of child-centered solutions, respect and compromise.
I work hard to help clients find solutions to problems that fit with their personalities and values. I work from a strength based philosophy and often utilize cognitive-behavioral interventions within the therapy process. I attempt to bring humor and fun into the serious process of healing and growth.
