As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with individuals, couples and families. I recognize that individuals are impacted by their family system and that positive change is most helpful when family members are on the same page. I am passionate about assisting couples and family members thrive in their family! I enjoy helping people become comfortable with change and envision what their relationships could be with some intentional decisions!
I have had experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have assisted clients in creating a plan to maintain sobriety and recovery, including helping clients find positive support and understand what impacts one's use.
I use various models of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused therapy and Contextual therapy. I have been trained in Filial therapy and Parent-child Interactive therapy for parent/child interactions. I also have had training for how to benefit individuals impacted by various traumas.
