I believe that effective psychotherapy provides a person with increased understanding and self-awareness. By gaining deeper insight into lifelong maladaptive patterns, a person can gain the ability to have a healthier lifestyle and outlook on life. One may also come to view oneself and others in a completely different way. My style of working with individuals and couples is a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic informed, collaborative approach while being sensitive to each person's specific needs.

Depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, childhood/adult attachment issues, substance abuse/dependency, and co-dependency are my specialty areas. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

I have extensive experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders. Such as, depression, trauma, anxiety and personality disorders with substance abuse and/or dependency.
